Szentendre, Hungary

In line with the focus of the 10th ASEM Foreign Ministers' Meeting on non-traditional security challenges, climate change, which today ranks as an important global concern, was the focus of discussion for some 30 journalists from Asia and Europe. The Asia-Europe Foundation organised the 6th Asia-Europe Journalists' Seminar in Szentendre, Hungary (4-6 June 2011) as a side event to the 10th ASEM FMM.
Entitled, "Climate Change Negotiations: Can the Media Play a Role in Sustaining the Momentum from Cancún?", the Seminar brought together some 30 journalists from leading media organisations in Asia and Europe to discuss the role of the media in reporting climate change issues.
