ASEM partners face common environmental issues and with this background they try to solve the problem together. ASEM held the first Environment Ministers' Meeting (EnvMM) in Beijing on 17 Januari 2002 and the second one in Leece, Italy on 13 October 2003. Among the common issues that the partners are facing are sustainable developments, climate change and the protection of environment.
