The Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP) Meeting connects member of parliaments of ASEM member countries to discuss on issues surrounding the ASEM three pillars.

So far, ASEP meeting has been held three times with the last one taking place in Vietnam on 25 & 26 March 2004 in Hue city. The meeting with the theme "Toward ASEM 5 Summit" discusses four main topics: "Current International Security Context and Challenges to International Law," "Cooperation for Fairer and More Equal Global Trade," "Cultural Identity and Diversity in Context of Asia-Europe" and "Toward Revitalizing and Substantiating Asia-Europe: Voice of Parliamentarians."

The initial ASEP meeting was held in Strasbourg (France) on 18 April 1996 while the second ASEP meeting was held in Manila (Philippines) on 26-28 August 2002.
