    The Ministry of Education of Thailand and the ASEM Education Secretariat will convene a forum of experts on university- business cooperation.   • ASEM Seminar on Credits and Learning Outcomes

    The seminar is conceived as a platform for European and Asian higher education experts to present different models of credit systems and learning outcomes used in Asia and Europe as well as to exchange ideas on how to develop a common understanding of these important tools. The results and recommendations of the meeting will be transferred to the next ASEM Education Ministerial Conference which will take place in Denmark in 2011.

  • 2nd Preparatory Senior Officials' Meeting for the 4th ASEM Culture Ministers' Meeting

    The Forum is the concrete response to ASEM Leaders' call during the 7th ASEM Summit for formation of a global partnership to strengthen policy coordination and cooperation, increase sustainable input in agricultural production, raise agricultural productivity, all of which in a bid to secure food supply. The forum will be hosted by Vietnam and co-sponsored by Denmark.

    The ASEM Labour and Employment Ministers’ Conference aims to exchange views and experiences between Labour and Employment Ministers of the ASEM member countries. The third meeting will be hosted by the Dutch Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in Leiden, the Netherlands and will be co-sponsored by the European Commission. The third ASEM LEMC will build on the achievements of the ASEM dialogue in the employment and social area, and will focus on how to turn the financial and economic crisis into an opportunity for creating jobs and strengthening social development at the global level.
